The team keeps growing, there are many additional tutors available, we know we can find the right tutor for every student, from 1st grade through College. Every tutor is a certified teacher or has 10+ years of 1:1 math tutoring experience!

Dalton Watts
Dalton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is currently in his 4th year of teaching Collegiate Mathematics. He has been teaching and tutoring math since his undergraduate days. He is excited to help students build confidence in their mathematical skills and achieve their academic goals. When Dalton is not nerding out over a math problem, he enjoys being on stage singing, playing piano, and also dabbles in competitive USTA tennis.

Beth Banks
Beth has been teaching middle school math for 27 years. She knows that working with kids is her God-given gift! Beth is excited to be a part of the MME team to help students from anywhere and everywhere gain confidence, succeed, and share the same love of math that she has. She feels blessed to work beside your children and believes they are the future. Beth and her husband are also proud parents to two adult children and are over-the-moon ecstatic to welcome their first grandchild in December.

Timothy Puckett
Tim is a University of Michigan graduate with over 32 years of experience in tutoring students of all ages in all academic areas. Some of Tim’s previous students have earned perfect scores on the ACT and SAT exams and have attended some of the most prestigious universities in the country, including Harvard and the California Institute of Technology. Outside of academics, Tim is the author of two children’s books and a former professional musician and composer.

Michele Venne
Michele has been a classroom teacher, a teacher trainer and held many other teaching positions in the Paradise Valley Unified School District over the last 30 years. She has a passion for teaching math in particular and loves watching students grow their math skills with her guidance. She is a published author as well, among her many accomplishments. She can also be found riding her horse when she is not writing or tutoring math.

Bailey Cooper
Bailey graduated from the University of Arizona magna cum laude with a BS in Mathematics and an Emphasis in Mathematics Education in May 2021. Bailey taught 8th Grade Math last school year at McGlone Academy (in CO) as part of a Teach For America placement and has extensive tutoring experience helping students as early as elementary school and all the way through Calculus 2.

Susannah Coppola
Susannah is a native of Louisiana and has been teaching for 14 years. Most of her years in teaching have been spent teaching math to students in general education as well as students with special needs. She also has experience tutoring students in math and enjoys helping students become passionate about math. Her favorite part of teaching math is helping students build their confidence and discovering a love of math. In her spare time, Susannah is busy being a mother to two college aged children and one child still in high school. She has a love for traveling, reading, and spending time with family.

Jess Myers
Jess is a graduate of New Mexico State University and is currently in her 4th year of teaching elementary Math and Science. She worked in undergrad as well as grad on developing a math curriculum that is engaging and rigorous for all learning modalities. Growing up Jess felt she was “bad” at math but through college work and teaching realized she had misconceptions early on in her education. This drives her passion for working with students to challenge themselves and learn from their successes as well as mistakes in math. She has a love for working with students on finding their own unique understanding of math and finding strategies that cater to their own needs. When she isn’t teaching, Jess enjoys being outdoors rock climbing, fishing, and enjoying nature with her family.

Will Fenton
Will has a decade of experience in education and loves improving the lives of students. He has taught middle school and high school math and managed a math intervention program at a local charter high school. He is an Arizona native and a lover of the desert. Will has worked in IT and is a major fan of STEM and discovering how things work!! He is thrilled to share his love of math and his deep understanding of the why behind numbers with your student.

Evan Wills
Evan graduated with a BA in Social Sciences from Shawnee State University and a M.Ed. in Education from Ohio University. He worked for eight years teaching math as an Intervention Specialist and is now in his fourth year teaching Personal Finance, Psychology, Sociology, and American Government. Evan enjoys getting the chance to build relationships with students as their skill and confidence grows. He also enjoys the chance to exercise the math part of his brain. Outside of school, Evan loves music. He plays several instruments, none particularly well. He is a facial hair enthusiast. He also likes taking hikes and spending time with his daughters.

Linda Borys
Linda is a graduate of Rutgers University of NJ with a Bachelor of Science in accounting.  She also attended Kean University of NJ and obtained her Teaching Certificate for K – 8th Grade.   She has been teaching and tutoring over 20+ years.  She loves seeing the “light bulb” go off when the student understands the math concept and is able to achieve the goals for the year.  She can’t wait to help your child to have that “light bulb” moment and see the look of satisfaction on the face of your child.  When Linda is not tutoring, she loves to hang out with her family, friends and her dogs and hang out at the the NY Renaissance Faire.

Heather Tussing
Heather a graduate of Eastern Michigan University (Bachelors in Exercise Science) & the University of Toledo (Masters in Secondary Education Mathematics) and she is currently in her 23rd year of teaching math.  Her favorite part about teaching math is when ‘the light bulb goes on’ over her student’s heads.  She’s taught a wide age of students from 11 years old to adult age …  and she says “it never gets old when a student finally ‘gets it’”.  She enjoys helping students realize that math skills can be accomplished even when they are difficult.  When she is not teaching, she is probably on a soccer field watching one of her two older boys play collegiate soccer, on a course watching her youngest son run cross country and track, or in a gym coaching girls gymnastics … or spending time at her summer lake house in Michigan.

Sherry Morton
Sherry has been a classroom teacher for 30 years in three states, including Virginia, Tennessee, and Texas. Since 2013, she has been training and supporting secondary math teachers in East Texas through the Region 7 Education Service Center. She says “Quite a bit has changed since I started teaching in 1983. One thing is constant though, kids are still kids! I have yet to meet a child that could not open a present, each one opens it differently and at different rates. Education is a present, that every child can open.

Gabriella Munoz
Gabby is a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino with a BA in Mathematics and a graduate of UMass Global with a Master’s in Teaching and Learning. She brings 8 years of teaching experience and a passion for supporting students through problem solving and critical thinking skills. Gabby is a military spouse and mom of two. She enjoys road trips, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, and spending time with her family.

Kara Curran
Kara is a graduate of Miami University (Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education) and Marygrove College (Masters in the Art of Teaching) and she is currently in her 28th year of teaching high school math. She believes that every student has the potential to excel in math, and her goal is to empower students with the skills and confidence needed to tackle any mathematical challenge. With a deep love for mathematics and a commitment to helping students succeed, she is here to make learning math an enjoyable and rewarding experience for you. When she is not teaching, she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her three adult children.

Kasey Long
Kasey is in her 13th year in education, and has experience teaching many levels of mathematics. She received her undergraduate degree from Hardin-Simmons University, and her masters from Sul Ross State University. She has a passion for showing students that math can be fun, and helping struggling learners find success in their education. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her kids, watching sports, and reading a good book!

Beth Motoki
Beth is a graduate of San Jose State University in California (BA math) and Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana (MS secondary education) where she also worked on a PhD in mathematics education. She has been teaching mathematics in California and Hawaii for decades, and internationally with the Peace Corps. She loves helping students make sense of and enjoy math while building their foundations and confidence. Reading science fiction and hiking with her dogs are also big parts of her life.
